Zac was born and raised in northwestern Pennsylvania in the small town of North East. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, he attended the Penn State School of Law where he earned his J.D. Zac began his legal career at a large law firm in upstate New York, where his practice was focused in trusts and estates and real estate. After he and Eric Krown determined they would start their own practice, they headed west and opened their boutique trust and estate planning law firm, Peters and Krown, PLLC, in Bigfork, Montana in 2020. Peters and Krown was quickly voted the best law firm in Bigfork in 2021, and continues to be recognized as such year after year.

Zac’s practice specializes in trust administration and trustee services, probate, fiduciary services, complex estate and estate tax planning, and legacy planning. Although Zac enjoys the challenge of planning for large and complex estates, he is committed to providing legal services for his community, and regularly provides pro bono estate planning services to individuals in need. Zac is proud to provide his clients with a friendly and compassionate experience, peace of mind, and, most importantly, quality work. Zac prioritizes ensuring that his clients are well-informed and understand what is happening throughout the time they are working together.   

When he’s not being a lawyer, Zac enjoys all types of outdoor recreation from hiking to skiing and everything in between.
